Positive Drug Test Sidelines Huggins for 80 Games Tuesday, June 11th, 2024 Bad news for closer Wynn Huggins of the Tacoma Fur Traders. The league commissioner's office reported he has tested positive for a performance-enhancing substance and will be given a 80-game suspension. Huggins was not available for comment. However, the Fur Traders general manager said in a statemant, "Our organization fully supports our league's drug policy, and we will do all we can to help Wynn get his career headed back on a positive course." He has 12 relief appearances in 2024, worked 21.2 innings and struck out 22. Wynn Huggins has posted 3 saves with a 4.98 ERA and a 1-0 record. |
