Quintana Records Shutout Against Yakima Wednesday, September 13th, 2023 In a knockout performance, Norberto Quintana beat the Hops 5-0 with an impressive 5-hit shutout. The Farmers hurler finished with 6 strikeouts and 2 walks. He showed pinpoint control and a sharp fastball. Quintana told reporters after the game, "My arm felt good, mechanics were good and my stuff was working... it don't get any better than this." The Hops manager said, "It was a rough one for my guys. We weren't at our best... and their guy was." Quintana's record up to now is 6-and-1 with 16 saves and a 4.12 ERA. He has given up 48 hits in 48 innings with 39 strikeouts. |
