Yakima Pitcher Racks Up Outstanding Pitcher Award Monday, October 7th, 2024 The Outstanding Pitcher Award for 2024 has been presented and the USSL Double A winner is Curt Tate of Yakima. "It's always nice to receive an award like this," said Tate. "I just hope I can improve on my performance next year and be in the running again," the Hops star told reporters. Tate excelled with an impressive 13-4 record in 21 starts. In 133 innings he yielded 97 hits and 57 walks, while striking out 116 and compiling a fine 2.30 ERA. John Boyle of the Lancaster Farmers finished second in voting, while Jesús Medina of the Springfield Shooters finished third. |
