Peņa Tabbed as July's Starter of the Month Thursday, August 1st, 2024 There's something about a young rookie winning the USSL Double A Pitcher of the Month trophy that sends shock waves through the league. Such is the case with Paco Peņa, a 22-year-old starter for the Lancaster Farmers. In July, he topped off the month with a 4-0 mark and 1.95 ERA in 5 starts, tossed 37 innings, fanned 22 and held opposing teams to a .187 average. In 14 starts this season Peņa has compiled a 8-3 record and a 3.29 ERA. |
