Tillman Rips Yakima for 5 Hits Wednesday, July 31st, 2024 It seemed that Lancaster center fielder Brad Tillman could do no wrong as the Farmers kayoed the Hops 12-6 today as he rapped out 5 hits in 5 at-bats. Yakima pitchers couldn't get him out as Tillman seemed to know which pitches they were throwing. "I think the Farmers were stealing signs," growled one unhappy Yakima fan. "I just felt good today. I saw the ball well and just wanted to make good contact and put the ball in play," said the jubilant Tillman in the postgame press interview. Brad Tillman singled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 7th. Batting .301 to date, Tillman has 1 home run and 21 RBIs. |
