#1 Pitcher Trophy Won by Fog Mitchell Saturday, October 5th, 2024 The Outstanding Pitcher Award for 2024 has been presented and the USSL Triple A winner is Dave Mitchell of Sunset District. "It's always nice to receive an award like this," said Mitchell. "I just hope I can improve on my performance next year and be in the running again," the Fog star told reporters. Mitchell excelled with an impressive 7-3 record in 19 starts. In 119.1 innings he yielded 94 hits and 60 walks, while striking out 97 and compiling a fine 2.79 ERA. Ezio Deodato of the Pure Michigan Great Lakers finished second in voting, while Gabriel Hernández of the Phoenix Hotspur Reserves finished third. |
