SAAA's Top Hitter Announced Thursday, August 1st, 2024 It's perhaps an award he'll win many more times through his career, as at age 24, Mario Cruz has a lot of baseball ahead of him. But for now the young Pure Michigan Great Lakers star can enjoy the numbers he put upin July, which have garnered him the nod as the USSL Triple A Batter of the Month. His breakout month featured a .362 average with 6 home runs, 28 RBIs and 22 runs scored. Hitting .354 to date, Cruz has 11 home runs and 45 RBIs. He has played in 49 games. |
