Pérez on Fire, Named Player of the Week Monday, July 15th, 2024 Jorge Pérez burst onto the USPL Triple A stage in a big way last week. This promising rookie shortstop for Bakersfield garnered everyone's respect by putting up some remarkable numbers and picking up the Player of the Week trophy. The 22-year-old haunted opposing pitchers hitting .478 (11-for-23) with 2 home runs and 4 RBIs last week. Thus far this year Pérez has hit .281 with 6 home runs and 18 RBIs. |
