M3L Triple A Announces #1 Player Monday, September 9th, 2024 At the age of 28, Wayne Saunders might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Salt Lake City first baseman put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .643 batting average. For his efforts Saunders collected the M3L Triple A Player of the Week Award. He racked up 9 hits in 14 at-bats, 2 home runs and 6 RBIs last week in 4 games. For the year Saunders is batting .392 with 3 home runs. |
