Disaster Vega 3AAA Hitter of the Week Monday, July 15th, 2024 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the M3L Triple A, but last week Iván Vega of the Port Royal Disaster reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Vega rocked opposing pitching for a .481 average (13-for-27), no home runs and 4 RBIs to come away with the award. Thus far this season Vega has hit .481 with no home runs, 4 RBIs and scored 3 times. |
