He hurled the Austin Rangers to a 6-0 shutout victory over the Montana Pandas, yielding 3 hits with 6 strikeouts and 1 walk. "He threw strikes and he was always around the plate," the Montana skipper said. "The ball was doing everything he wanted it to do. We hit some balls hard, but they were all right at the fielders."
