Avino Rips Athletic Club KC for 5 Hits Tuesday, May 28th, 2024 River Rats first baseman Baldomero Avino went ballistic today with the bat. He smoked the U-21 for 5 hits and sparked Columbia to a 10-3 win over Athletic Club KC at Columbia Stadium. Baldomero Avino singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off Sacco Brouwers in the 4th, singled in the 5th and hit an RBI single in the 7th. This season Avino is batting .477 with 41 hits, 6 home runs, 23 RBIs, .545 OBP and has scored 15 runs. |
