Nava Hurls River Rats to Shutout Win Sunday, May 26th, 2024 Edgardo Nava had the Athletic Club KC U-21 dancing to his tune today with a sparkling 6-0 shutout performance for the Columbia River Rats. He gave up 1 hit, issued 1 walk and had 4 strikeouts. Athletic Club KC hitters were bewildered throughout the game by his delivery. The opposing manager said, "When you face a guy who hides the ball like he does, it takes a couple of at-bats to try to find his release point. We just never figured him out." This year Nava has a 2-2 record and a 2.39 ERA. |
