Minor USPL Single A's Hottest Hitter Monday, August 14th, 2023 The hottest bat of the week belonged to Hammond right fielder Ferris Minor. He went on a rampage last week against PA hurlers and rapped out 9 hits in 20 at-bats for a .450 average while hitting 3 home runs, driving in 8 runs and scoring 3 runs -- numbers quite worthy of the USPL Single A Player of the Week trophy. Minor was honored today at a press conference. Thus far this season Minor has hit .279 with 7 home runs, 32 RBIs and scored 27 times. |
