PA Announces Top Player Award Tuesday, September 24th, 2024 The manager of the Athletic Club KC U-21 said he thinks Tony García is only going to get better as he gets older. He may only be 21, but it will be hard to top the designated hitter's 2024 campaign, as he has been named the winner of the USPL Single A Outstanding Hitter Award. His winning campaign featured a .340 batting average and a .407 on-base percentage this year. In 97 games he piled up 131 hits, 32 doubles, 3 triples, 6 home runs, 51 RBIs and 53 runs scored. Baldomero Avino of the Columbia River Rats finished second in voting, while Jorge Borbón of the Gwinnett County Black Cats finished third. |
