Alameda Shortstop Nets SA Award Monday, June 24th, 2024 So far in his young career, Juan García has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the USSL Single A in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 20-year-old Alameda Airmen shortstop hit at a torrid .500 clip as he collected 12 hits in 24 at-bats, no home runs, 2 RBIs and 9 runs scored. In 28 games this season García has batted at a .314 pace with 32 hits and 1 home run. |
