USSL Single A Names League's Best Tuesday, September 24th, 2024 The future looks extremely bright for Grady Walkinshaw. At the age of 23, many players are still trying to find their way in USSL Single A. Walkinshaw has not only found his way, he's already established himself as one of the game's brightest stars, today being named the winner of the USSL Single A Outstanding Hitter Award. "I didn't expect to hit .274 this year, that's for sure," the first baseman said. The Galesburg Guzzlers start also put up a .397 on-base percentage this year, with 89 hits, 14 doubles, no triples, 15 home runs, 48 RBIs and 63 runs scored. Gabriel Díaz of the Galesburg Guzzlers finished second in voting, while SaQwan Hackett of the Connetquot Chiefs finished third. |
