Gómez Set to Miss 8 Months Thursday, September 5th, 2024 Esteban Gómez will have to wait a while longer. The York starting pitcher was informed this afternoon that he will miss another 8 months with bone chips in his elbow. The injury has kept him off the field since 09/02/2024. Though Gómez had hoped to return soon, he has no choice but to be patient. "Gotta stay focused," he said. "Gotta stay positive." To date this year, Gómez shows a 4-7 record, 16 starts, 83.2 innings, 85 strikeouts and a 4.09 ERA. |
