M3L Single A Picks August's Best Batter Sunday, September 1st, 2024 Thom Beach is not used to being associated with Batter of the Month-caliber players, but today the Myrtle Beach second baseman joined that select company when the M3L Single A announced the results of August's voting. Beach totaled 26 hits, 10 walks, 1 home run, 8 RBIs and 15 runs scored last month to put together a .413 batting average and .507 on-base percentage. This season Beach is hitting .300 with 88 hits, 5 home runs, 25 RBIs, scored 37 runs and played in 79 games. |
