Provo Whitewashed by Bowers Friday, August 30th, 2024 In an excellent mound performance, Quentin Bowers of the Myrtle Beach Seahawks whitewashed the Provo Mango 5-0 on a 3-hitter. He said after the game, "I had my best stuff and did a good job of mixing up my pitches." The Provo manager said, "We just didn't swing the bats well today. Bowers did a good job keeping us guessing." In all, the Myrtle Beach hurler rang up 8 strikeouts and no walks in the shutout win. This season Bowers has a 6-8 record with a 2.15 ERA. |
