Star CL Paunescu Signs for 6 years Thursday, October 24th, 2024 Northern Virginia fans celebrated as word of a signing became reality. Ilie Paunescu won't be pulling up stakes anytime soon, as he has signed a 6-year extension at a pay rate of $10,550,000 per annum. Since he is widely seen as an integral part of the club, Northern Virginia officials had to keep Paunescu from jumping ship. Since coming into the league, Paunescu has chalked up 20 saves. In 165 games, he has registered a 18-22 won-lost record with 269 strikeouts in 388.1 innings and compiled a 4.08 ERA. |
