Wizarding Trims Northern Virginia In United States Baseball Association Finals Monday, October 14th, 2024 The creme de la creme of United States Baseball Association baseball are the Wizarding Express. The team just put away the Northern Virginia Retrievers 7-1 to capture the overall title. The Express finished the Retrievers off 4-0. Speaking with reporters after the victory, the Express manager extolled his team, "It was pure bliss this season. From day one they put their hearts and souls into this team. When you have talented players and they work hard and play together, it doesn't take much to manage them. All I did was make the lineup card and let 'em play." During the Division III regular season, the Express finished first in the standings, posting a record of 73-35. |
