Consecutive-Game Hit Streak Continues for Young Saturday, September 21st, 2024 The streak is alive and well -- at least for today. Gregg Young did it again. He bashed 1 hit in today's game and for the last 20 games in a row has collected at least one hit. The 24-year-old Buckhead first baseman extended his streak as the Bowties beat the Richardson City Thundercats 6-5 at Buckhead Grounds. Gregg Young struck out in the 1st, grounded out in the 4th, doubled in the 6th and grounded out in the 8th. In 105 games this season Young has compiled a .272 batting average with 106 hits and 17 home runs. He has also scored 50 times and knocked in 62 runs. |
