PL Selects Rookie Star of the Month Sunday, September 1st, 2024 Youngster Mysterious Walker emerged as the latest Premier League Rookie of the Month today. The young man from Buckhead deserved the honor, batting .317 with 3 home runs and 13 runs batted in. Is the month of August a harbinger of things to come or just a fluke? We'll find out someday, but for now, we'll just let Walker enjoy the limelight. This season Walker has banged out 40 hits in 130 at-bats for a .308 average with 5 home runs. He is getting on base at a .353 pace and his totals also include 19 RBIs and 10 runs scored. |
