Atlanta Goes Hitless Against Alejándrez Tuesday, August 6th, 2024 In a seldom seen sight, Pedro Alejándrez threw a no-hitter as the Panama City Piranhas beat the Atlanta Smoke 2-0. In a dominating performance at The Tank he struck out 13 and walked 1 while facing only 28 batters. "He had great stuff out there," the Piranhas manager told BNN reporters. "Pedro was a real gamer, a real competitor. He didn't give in to anybody out there." This year Alejándrez has posted a 7-4 mark in 14 starts and has a 2.32 ERA. |
