SAA Best Hitter Trophy Goes to Sánchez Friday, September 1st, 2023 It's perhaps an award he'll win many more times through his career, as at age 19, Roberto Sánchez has a lot of baseball ahead of him. But for now the young Chesapeake Continentals star can enjoy the numbers he put upin August, which have garnered him the nod as the USSL Double A Batter of the Month. His breakout month featured a .360 average with 2 home runs, 15 RBIs and 16 runs scored. This season Sánchez has hit 8 home runs and posted a .339 batting average. |
