SAA Player of the Week Named Monday, August 21st, 2023 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the USSL Double A, but last week Luis Jelarde of the Virginia Beach Deuces reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Jelarde rocked opposing pitching for a .455 average (10-for-22), 1 home run and 3 RBIs to come away with the award. So far this season Jelarde is batting .262 with 10 home runs. |
