Hit Parade: Holliday Pops 5 Hits Sunday, June 18th, 2023 It was a parade of hits for Dan Holliday of the Ottawa Nationals, one right after another. He ravaged the Little Caesars Hot N Readys for 5 hits in his 5 at-bats. But the Hot N Readys rose to the occasion and rained on his parade with a 5-4 win. "Holliday was really good ... we were just a little better," said the Hot N Readys manager in the postgame interview. "It's all right with me if he gets 5 hits every game against us, if we win." Dan Holliday singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI double in the 7th and singled in the 9th. To date this season Holliday is hitting .347 with no home runs. |
