Téllez Goes Hitless, Streak Stopped at 22 Saturday, May 6th, 2023 Edgardo Téllez's 22-game hitting streak was snapped today at Ricochets Ballpark. The 27-year-old Aeros left fielder failed to get a hit in 4 at-bats in the game with the Salem Misfits, but Battle Ground came out the winner, topping them 4-0. One of his teammates told BNN, "The streak was no big deal to Edgardo. He ain't that type of guy. He just wants to help the team win ballgames. That's the bottom line." This year Téllez has no home runs and a .286 batting average. |
