3AA's Premier Player for 2023 Named Sunday, October 8th, 2023 Tony Vega took M3L Double A by storm this year and he did it all at the age of 21. For his spectacular campaign, the Atlantic City Sonics star has been named the 2023 M3L Double A Outstanding Hitter Award recipient. "To be considered amongst the best in the league is pretty overwhelming," said the center fielder. On the season he compiled a .298 batting average to go with a .430 on-base percentage. The native of Valencia, Venezuela also added 25 doubles, 3 triples, 11 home runs, 61 RBIs and 67 runs scored. Thomas Vaughan of the Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks finished second in voting, while Jaime Chavarriaga of the Battle Ground Aeros finished third. |
