Menard's AA Won: Thunder Hawks On Top Sunday, September 17th, 2023 Let loose, Ft. Polk South fans, your team has won the Menard's AA. The Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks have officially captured the crown, the 1st in franchise history. "We've got a team that can do it all and we think do it just as well as anyone in the league," said catcher Thomas Vaughan. "I hope no one is taking us lightly once the playoffs start." Certainly the team's division crown will garner them a fair bit of respect, as the 69-32 record puts the club in position for the franchise's 1st M3L Double A championship. "You never get tired of being in the playoffs," said manager Sandy Hampton. "This is what you play for." |
