Players Suspended in Sixshooters-Sonics Donnybrook Tuesday, August 8th, 2023 It was a pretty intense fight, so Jason Boyer and Manuel Sánchez were both suspended today for 7 games for their part in a brawl which happened in a game between the Westwood Sixshooters and the Atlantic City Sonics at Sixshooters Stadium. Boyer said, "Luckily nobody was hurt. I think we both overreacted to the situation." Currently Boyer is batting .262 with 4 home runs and 29 RBIs. Taking a look at his season, Sánchez has made 16 relief appearances, recorded 2 saves and compiled a 0-1 won-lost mark and a 4.18 ERA. In pitching 28 innings, he has totaled 16 strikeouts and 22 walks. |
