Dodos Win Tight Silver AAA Race Sunday, September 17th, 2023 Álex Burgos called it "one of the best parts of being a pro ballplayer." The Hialeah Dodos first baseman was referring to winning a division title, as his club has just captured the Silver AAA crown. "There's not many better feelings than winning a tight pennant race," he said. "We worked hard for it all year, have our record at 63-38 right now and feel we're in good shape for the postseason." It was the 2nd time the Dodos have won the division. It may be a high for Burgos and his teammates, but there is certainly one better feeling he's now hoping for. "Winning the SL AAA Championship," he said. "Nothing would top that." |
