Hitting Streak Still Alive for Booth Tuesday, August 29th, 2023 And the hits just keep on coming -- especially off the red-hot bat of Sean Booth. The Dogfish Head catcher got 1 hit in 4 at-bats in today's 5-1 triumph over the Hialeah Dodos at Hustlers Stadium. Booth has now hit safely in his last 20 games. Asked by the press, how it feels to go through something like this, he replied, "the longer it goes on, the more the pressure intensifies. The press coverage can get relentless at times. I wish I could just go out and play the game without all this distraction, but I know that's not going to happen. I know I will just have to grin and bear it." Sean Booth struck out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, struck out in the 5th and flied out in the 7th. Presently Booth is batting .298 with 14 home runs and 41 RBIs.
