Hit Parade: Collins Pops 5 Hits Wednesday, July 5th, 2023 Frank Collins really sizzled at the plate in today's 9-8 win over Lynx. The Florida right fielder blistered Calgary for 5 hits in 7 at-bats. "Collins was too tough to get out today," the Lynx skipper said in the postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too." Frank Collins singled in the 2nd, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI double in the 6th, singled in the 7th, flied out in the 9th, struck out in the 11th and hit an RBI single in the 14th. In 35 games Collins is hitting .273 this season with 33 hits, no home runs, 12 RBIs, 16 walks, .358 OBP and has scored 13 runs. |
