Rehab Fails, Career Over For Drummers Clephane

The Tortolita newspaper reported today that Drummers reliever Jerry Clephane has decided to retire from baseball due to a serious setback while recovering from a partially torn labrum. "I'm disappointed," Clephane told BNN. "My worst fear is a reality and I won't be coming back to the game."
Clephane has made 86 games with 10 saves in his career. His record includes 9 wins and 6 losses with a 4.23 ERA and 92 strikeouts in 117 innings.
