Hernández Hurls Ogres to Shutout Win Tuesday, August 29th, 2023 Júlio Hernández had the Athletic Club KC Reserves dancing to his tune today with a sparkling 2-0 shutout performance for the Bangor Trident Base Ogres. He gave up 3 hits, issued 1 walk and had 5 strikeouts. Athletic Club KC hitters were bewildered throughout the game by his delivery. The opposing manager said, "When you face a guy who hides the ball like he does, it takes a couple of at-bats to try to find his release point. We just never figured him out." So far this season Hernández has compiled a 5-9 record with a 4.29 ERA. |
