PAAA Star of the Week Named Monday, August 21st, 2023 Rob Warner must have thought he was dreaming. First he went on an exceptional week-long batting spree, bashing the ball at a .429 clip, then the Augusta catcher finds outs he has been chosen the league's best performer and gets the PAAA Player of the Week Award. He told BNN reporters in the postgame, "It was a great week for me. I could see the ball so well. Plus some of the balls seemed to have good eyes, too." For the week Warner batted .429 (9-for-21) with 3 home runs and 8 RBIs. For the year Warner has hit .252 with 15 home runs, 51 RBIs and scored 37 runs. |
