Port Royal's Shannon Gets 3AAA Player of the Week Monday, September 11th, 2023 So far in his young career, Wes Shannon has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the M3L Triple A in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 22-year-old Port Royal Disaster center fielder hit at a torrid .625 clip as he collected 5 hits in 8 at-bats, 1 home run, 4 RBIs and 3 runs scored. This season Shannon is batting at a .306 clip with 5 home runs and 52 RBIs. |
