Dragoons Mason Blanks Torch Monday, July 3rd, 2023 Louisiana hurler Nick Mason put on quite a show today as he blitzed the Mancelona Torch with a 9-0 shutout. He baffled them with fastballs and changeups, allowing 4 hits with 2 strikeouts and 1 walk to pick up the win. The opposing manager told reporters after the game, "I think every time we were looking for a fastball, he threw a changeup and every time we were looking for a changeup, he threw a fastball." This season Mason has compiled a 2-6 mark with a 3.88 ERA in 11 starts. |
