USPL Single A Top Player Is Carmona Saturday, September 23rd, 2023 Manuel Carmona took USPL Single A by storm this year and he did it all at the age of 17. For his spectacular campaign, the Mancelona Torch star has been named the 2023 USPL Single A Outstanding Hitter Award recipient. "To be considered amongst the best in the league is pretty overwhelming," said the right fielder. On the season he compiled a .332 batting average to go with a .395 on-base percentage. The native of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic also added 11 doubles, 4 triples, 11 home runs, 49 RBIs and 63 runs scored. Diego Bonilla of the Athletic Club KC U-21 finished second in voting, while Juan Carlos Cruz of the Mancelona Torch finished third. |
