Ramos Hurls Connetquot to Shutout Win Sunday, June 25th, 2023 Connetquot starter Alejandro Ramos really did a number on the Expos today, shutting them out 4-0 on 5 hits in a complete game victory. He issued 1 walk and had 11 strikeouts. In his postgame comments, the Niagara Falls manager said, "We didn't have good at-bats. I don't make excuses, but when we were playing the game, our energy didn't show. That comes from either extremely good pitching or extremely lousy hitting... seeing as our team has a bunch of pretty good hitters, I have to tip my cap to Alejandro... he did an outstanding job today." This year Ramos has worked 51 innings with 56 strikeouts en route to a 3-2 record and 1.94 ERA. |
