Richardson Receives Updated Diagnosis Monday, May 8th, 2023 Jake Richardson will have to wait a while longer. The Chicago catcher was informed this afternoon that he will miss another 4-5 months with a strained hip muscle. The injury has kept him off the field since 05/07/2023. Though Richardson had hoped to return soon, he has no choice but to be patient. "Gotta stay focused," he said. "Gotta stay positive." This season Richardson is batting .300 with 6 hits, no home runs, 3 RBIs, .417 OBP and has scored 1 run. |
