SA Honors August's #1 Pitcher Friday, September 1st, 2023 Over the past month Nick Richie has turned quite a few heads. He's young, talented and able to pitch with the established arms in the USSL Single A. He proved all that and now he's been named August's Pitcher of the Month. The rookie for the Connetquot Chiefs posted 5-0 mark and a 0.00 ERA. In 5 starts he tossed 33 innings, permitted 20 hits and fanned 37 batters. This season to date Richie has a record of 9 wins and 4 losses with a 2.26 ERA, has appeared in 19 games and struck out 122 in 115.1 innings. |
