Star of the Week Named in SA Monday, August 28th, 2023 John Burton is respected by most Connetquot Chiefs fans for his no-frills style of play. The 19-year-old right fielder went about his business with vigor last week to grab the USSL Single A Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .538 average (7-for-13) with 1 home run, 2 RBIs and 4 runs scored. In the 2023 season Burton is hitting .284 with 8 home runs. |
