Covas Gets Injury Report Wednesday, May 31st, 2023 Roberto Covas will have to wait a while longer. The Bellevue starting pitcher was informed this afternoon that he will miss another 9 months with a damaged elbow ligament. The injury has kept him off the field since 05/27/2023. Though Covas had hoped to return soon, he has no choice but to be patient. "Gotta stay focused," he said. "Gotta stay positive." To date this season Covas is 1-3 with 6 starts and an ERA of 2.90 with 33 strikeouts in 40.1 innings. |
