He may have less experience than some veteran members of the M3L Single A, but that didn't slow Andrés Chávez down at alll in 2023.
At the age of 22, the Nebraska right fielder has been named the winner of the M3L Single A Outstanding Hitter Award.
He had a .291 batting average and a .357 on-base percentage this year. In 86 games he piled up 91 hits, 16 doubles, 3 triples, 14 home runs, 49 RBIs and 51 runs scored.
"I'm blown away by the season I was able to put together," he said. "I'm looking forward to trying to do it all again next year."
Miguel García of the Mt. Vernon Bulls finished second in voting, while Álex Ramírez of the Mt. Vernon Bulls finished third.
