M3L Single A's Best Batter Announced Monday, August 7th, 2023 24-year-old Ryan Forrest made a few Nebraska headlines during this past week as the rookie right fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and M3L Single A officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 9 hits in 12 at-bats to put up a .750 average. Forrest collected no home runs, 3 RBIs and scored 3 runs. Thus far this year Forrest has hit .291 with 1 home run and 23 RBIs. |
