Reed Gets Shutout Monday, June 6th, 2022 Sun Prairie starter Zane Reed really did a number on the Ghosts today, shutting them out 4-0 on 3 hits in a complete game victory. He issued 2 walks and had 6 strikeouts. In his postgame comments, the Casper manager said, "We didn't have good at-bats. I don't make excuses, but when we were playing the game, our energy didn't show. That comes from either extremely good pitching or extremely lousy hitting... seeing as our team has a bunch of pretty good hitters, I have to tip my cap to Zane... he did an outstanding job today." This year Reed has a 5-2 record with a 3.64 ERA. |
