PAA Player of the Week Named Monday, July 25th, 2022 Álex Rodríguez is respected by most Myrtle Beach Mermen fans for his no-frills style of play. The 24-year-old left fielder went about his business with vigor last week to grab the USPL Double A Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .579 average (11-for-19) with 1 home run, 5 RBIs and 2 runs scored. This year Rodríguez is hitting .318, produced 40 RBIs and 8 home runs, scored 22 times and gotten on base at a .339 rate. |
